Our mission is to help you move better in your body while finding stillness in your mind.
We offer yoga for all levels of practitioners in a fun, lighthearted, gently heated room.
We embrace: Community, Curiosity, Compassion, and Empowerment. We provide a physically and mentally challenging experience in order to move past unhealthy habits and patterns and toward a state of homeostasis.
We address today’s issues of neck and back pain, menopause, depression, stress and recovery from injury and disease (to name a few). We provide props (blocks, chairs, straps, blankets and bolsters) so that you are better able to modify for your needs and comfort level.
We are here to guide you and help you find the true teacher which resides within. We can only share our experience and make suggestions we feel will work for you. Take what you want from the practice and leave the rest.
We believe it is up to the individual to adapt their practice when needed and go deeper when it is safe. Listen to your body, respect your limits and be patient with the process. That is the true practice of yoga.
At Intent Yoga we hope to inspire students, teachers and staff alike to take the healing benefits of yoga into their daily lives…hence our mantra/slogan of ‘carry OM’.
